im going to have a go at fitting new pads to the above disc brakes, just wondering if it is simple to do,or am i better off taking it to a shop....dont want to end up not being able to do it,as hoping to go for a night ride to dalby forest 2mor night(friday).........

is it just a case of taking caliper off frame, open it up,take out old pads, and put in new ones.........also,do any pads fit,or do i have to buy certain ones......

thanks in advance......

read the how too on park tools.

you do not remove the caliper. remove the wheel. then you do not need to reset the caliper.
