Disc Brake Rotor Querys.

My brother has a set of Hayes Stroker Ryde discs which work fine except the rotor keeps on warping a bit causing the disc to rub. I straighten the disc and its ok for a ride or two but then its gone again and starts to rub, are Hayes discs softer than others? as two user reviews for the Hayes mudcutter rotors on crc reckon that the standard issue rotor is soft and warps easy. The disc has taken no knocks ether.
Secondly when we was out at the weekend and it was raining pretty heavy the rear disc was squealing but working fine, I didn't think discs did this when wet.
Any suggestions on both issues ? We still have the old Tekro IO rotors that came with the bike so should i give them a try see if they start to warp? don't really want to replace the rotors if the problem is else where.

how old are the brakes?
TBH the best way of dealing with the rotors is to ignore them and let them sort themselves out.
yes they can squeal read the post in the FAQ's"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
