Hi there

I know a few people on here have mentioned this bike in the past and i am looking for advice on what size to go for .

As they only do the two sizes 54 and 58 i believe , i am stuck between the two and only been able to try the 58 at the minute.

I am 6"2 and it feels like i would need to shorten the stem on the 58 from a 120 to maybe 100.
On other brand 58s i seemed to fit better. Is this bikes top tube long enough for me to have a better fit on the 54 do you think?

i know i need to try really but my nearest branch with them in is 40 mins away

I'm 6' and it fit's me fine (58) - however it's only my second road bike so I'm no expert, but I have done quite a few long rides with no discomfort.

    Thanks for replying
    You mean the 58 ?
Anything else youve noticed or changed then?

    yes a 58.

Swapped to a compact chainset, found the gearing a bit tall for me and the local hills.

I've been using it for my daily commute for the last year, no problems what-so-ever. It replaced another Carrera, the Valour, feels loads "faster" to ride if that makes sense was a bit worried I'd not notice any difference.

Just about ANY 54cm (whatever the manfr's sizing system) will surely be too small for 6'2". I guess that with only two sizes trying to cover say 80% of users? You'll definitely be in the top end of that 80%. The 58 might not fit; I'd bet the 54 certainly wouldn't!
