Forks for Integrated headset - what's the difference?

I need some new cross forks, and a lot of the ones I've found are for 1 1/8" 'integrated' aheadset.

Now my bike is old fashion non integrated 1 1/8", but I can't for the life of my figure out what would be different in the fork for integrated.

Anyone able to help me out?

Mainly the shape of the fork crown. They flow in to the head tube and would look a bit odd with a standard head bearing setup.
