e thirteen bash guard prob

what am i doing wrong ive got a giant glory with a 83mm x type bottom bracket using all spacers with a blackspire stinger ISCG chain guide a blackspire 36 t middle ring and have just bought a e thirteen 104mm 40t bash guard but it interferes with the guide and front mech why....... cheers kev

    surly you want the bash bigger than the middle ring and the m8o6 front mech i use can handle a 44t outer ring i dunno...

    you should use the bash size for the ring size.

    so 36T ring 36T bash.

    also how have you fitted it all.

    :oops: badly by the sounds of things, sorry no pics i took it to shop this morn and told them to ring when its finished so I'm guessing it will be a new middle ring (from 38 to 36 got um mixed up earlier) and a 36t E Thirteen bash and annoyingly enough some one in my house threw the packaging away so they wont be returned to chain reaction (bastards i ask if this combo would work and they ignored me) Nev mind only money....... :cry: cheers kev
