Specialized P1 and P2 All Mountain

Anyone know much about the new 09 p1 and p2 all mountains?

I want a HT for use instead of my full sus for riding to work but it also has to be capable of some freeriding some single tracks, jumps and small drops something to takeout when the full susser is a bit OTT..

I have seen the 08 P all mountain but they seemed to have dropped the price quite a bit this year and made two all mountains....

Also looking at the P2 chromo but think it’s too much of a jump bike for riding trails and to work but could be wrong.

Any other bike ideas welcome.
