Fitting Octalink crankset to a new frame.
Hi, Thinking aboout picking up a new Ridley Compact frame and transfering the majority of my old bike over to it as it has been fully rebuilt during the year with new Duraace 9 speed shifters and the like, what I need to know, can you use an Duraace octalink crankset in a new frame or do you need a compatable hollowtech crank?
Thanks

Except for a very small minority (Cannondale and Specialized are the main companies) modern frames' BB shells are no different to BB shells of 30 or 40 years ago. Certainly if it will take current Hollowtech 2 cranks it will also take a Octalink BB.0
