Being the style concious 20 year old that I am, but also not wanted to die young in an RTA, i'm trying to get some black reflective tape to adorn my road bike with (some on the seatstays, a strip on the forks and on the mudguards.). There is some on wiggle that looks unnecessarily over priced http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Cycle/7/Respro_Hi_Viz_Black_Diamond_Sticker_Sheet/5360011877/

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Have a look on Ebay - a guy on there sells it - but it is a premium compared to the normal tape.

Rapha use black reflective tape on their kit - so you can see it must be pricey !

My winter bike has the plain old white 3M reflective tape all over it, its very functional - and mudguards never look cool anyway.

    Up to you !

I only have one bike, so I don't want to spoil it with white tape. You're right about mudguards, but thats only for the winter anyway.

The black Hiviz stuff is very good, and more importantly, lasts for ages.
I'm still getting through the piece of a4 strip from about 3-4 years ago that i put on my daily work bike.

I think all the reflective tape lasts indefinitely ? I know the white stuff on my bike has been on it for a good four years now - and its as good as new.
So long as you clean the dirt off anyway !
