When do you reckon we will start seeing mtb frames made of this great material.

I already has me a pair of handlebars and would welcome the added strength.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

You've maybe got the same bars as me. They have a boring dull grey finish. It isn't even uniform.

I think that when many people buy an expensive carbon frame they want it to look expensive and Bling. Not an uninspiring, boring dull grey.

Shiny lacquered woven carbon looks tonnes Blingier.

Think I read a review a while ago of a nanotube carbon frame which had a final cosmetic layer of woven carbon and lacquer for the best of both worlds.

Can't remember the manufacturer or frame though.

    Possibly Scott or GT.

    EDIT:

Or maybe it was just a 'fibres in all directions' carbon frame rather than a nanotube frame.
