Planet X Model B wheels - need advice / opinions please

Have found a few postings on these wheels on this and a couple of other forums but most date back to earlier in the year when they were introduced.

Considering purchasing a set of these or a used set of Mavic Ksyrium Elites for similar sort of money for my winter training bike (will be used for brisk club rides - no commuting or leisure type rides) and wondering if any owners / users would care to pass on their thoughts / findings after some more months of use / experience (particularly if you've used both) ?

Planet X wheel weight would seem to be lighter than the Elites but I do have a good history with Mavic wheels, liking the fit and forget experiences that I've had with them over the years in particular. Wondering how stiff/robust/reliable the Planet Xs might be by comparison and how they roll/feel against something of the Elite's standard.

These are the only two wheels I'm currently considering but if there was something else out there of a similar standard for similar money (£150 - 180), then I would welcome pointers but I should add that I'm not interested in anything of Aksium standard ( tried them and didn't like them - too flexy), also not interested in anything hand built (been there, done that) and not a fan of the Campag G3 spoking pattern and traditional ball bearing arrangement of their offerings in this price bracket so it does seem to restrict my choices quite a bit !

Many thanks

Andy

Weight are on the Planet X website:

    WEIGHT:
    Front - 705g
    Rear - 948g
    QR's - 105g pair

I've just gone for Elites for my winter bike - the reviews of '09 bikes in C+ this month rates them as one of their favourite wheels.
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos
