is not that Berk off the diet?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Nah, he's much smaller than Berk!
Here we go, Berk, Boni and Drutt (with a random worm). Drutt is supposed to be a spider:

Tst, the camera was not telling the truth.
drutt still looks a bit under tall."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

You're not the only one with contributions in this months WMB, I see sheepsteeth, Kiwi Kranker, Surf-matt, Chaka Ping amongst others have also got their incoherent ramblings (sorry considered and balanced opinions) in print this month.
Page 39 for those of you dying to know.
Oh and Sonic, nice column, very polished and professional IMHO.It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
Cheers mate!0

Nobody's contacted me to ask where to send the royalties yet. They must be busy.
Another vote here for the Trap Door pic to be used in the mag. Or if they won't spring for the picture rights, you've got to make your own Berk costume and wear that in the pic byline.0 -
I asked them to do the Berk in the mag, but yes, copyright probs! So had to send them another pic. Like the idea! Could tie it in with Halloween.0
-
I haven't read it yet, but congratulations to my fellow 'Chapeltown-ian'. With you & 'Peaty' gaining celebrity status, I'm going to have to see what skill I have to keep the tradition going!
Don't wait up, guys! :oops:Yorkshire breeds good riders.
Especially Chapeltown
Damn, that's made me feel even more self-concious now!0 -
I didn't know you were a Chap lad! Where abouts? I live just opposite of Windmill Hill school.0
-
We're almost neighbours, mate. I'm just behind Wharncliffe pub.0
-
My local! I play darts in there. I used on live on Broad Inge Cres years ago.0
-
I'm not far from there myself, mate.0
-
You been in the Wharncliffe then?0
-
Congrats Sonic!! - don't usually get WMB, but shall make a bee-line for it on Wed0
-
You been in the Wharncliffe then?
Oh, aye...many a time. Although, I haven't been in for a while.0 -
Was the November issue your first column? Bought it today. Some sound advice there!0
-
read the column but am saving the rest of the mag for the flight later.
i like it, i think it is good that future have found a good way to cross the divide between professional mtb testers and the rest of the real mtb community. i hope you get more mag space as i ve read loads of folk asking for better beginners sections and i reckon you have proven yoursel;f more than qualified for the task.
i thinnk we should be able to pose a question on the forum and you should offer an answer in your column, i reckon first question should be why are orange bikes so cr@p.............0 -
It was Steve Worland's idea! And I think a good one ;-)0
-
sheepsteeth wrote:i reckon first question should be why are orange bikes so cr@p.............
the question could be why does no one buy bionicons? :roll:0 -
c'mon, you know im joking.0
-
Really??????????????
Anyway, Orange bikes aren't cr*p just ridiculously expensive.
Right off to the air raid shelter to await the incoming :twisted:It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
