Set of mudguards for Giant SCR 1.0

For the next few months I intend getting a set of mudguards for my Giant.

I have a few questions before investing...

1. Clip-on or permanent?
2. Anyone recommend a set?

Only one sensible option,

1) Permanent (you can still take 'em off in spring),

2) SKS Chromoplastic mudguards in Black, size p35 (they are universally regarded as the best).
