I am still doing up my winter hack and need some help please-
Seatpost clamp is a 36mm, and is knackered, I cannot find a 36mm anywhere, can I get away with a 36.4 ??
I will also have the same porblem with the front mech, any ideas on which one I can use, I am looking for LX or XT

Just measured it, freshly re painted, where the mech goes is 32.6, so that is easily sorted, and the seat post clamp is deffo 36 / 36.40

what year?
and as front mechs do not come in 32.6mm and as the tube from the mech to the seat tube clamp is the same part...
Mech sizes are 28.6mm/31.8mm/34.9mm

Tube changes diameter around mech mount, just found(beneath the crud)31.8 on the mech band, and 36 stamped on the seat post clamp. As for the year I have no idea !!0

I would be very suprised if not 34.9. 99.9% of Hardrocks I have seen and sold at 34.9!

Below the split line is still 36mm, I beleive that the bike is around a 2004, hardrock sport, I sold my kenesis to a mate and took this in part ex so I could have a winter hack as I normally ride a cannondale carbon rush 40

it is all on speshes webby, go to bikes. archive and then 2004. chose the bike and then in the Technical Specifications section
