Campag 09 Tech Question: Shifting

Hi, apologies if this has already been answered.
I note that "multiple shifting" is now stated on the Campag. website for *all* ergo. levers from the base Veloce to Super Record.....

Does anyone know if this actually means that they're all as good as 08 Chorus - i.e Ability to downshift on the rear several sprockets at once - and downshift at least 4 at a time, across the whole gruppo. range?....
or do Veloce only allow e.g. a couple of downshifts whilst record allows many more??

Just got some new Centaur Ergos and they've ditched the QS mech, so multiple downshifts are back. New 09 levers don't work with QS Front mechs though. The hoods are quite a bit longer - I'm having to fit a shorter stem to my bike to keep the hoods in the same relative position.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

They'll work fine with QS mechs - plenty of people are using them with QS mechs.

They work with my 105 mech so I can't see them having much trouble with QS!

I don't understand why the hell Campagnolo introduced this feature of not being able to shift several cogs at once.

It's such an advantage. One of the finer points of my '03 Record for sure. Glad to hear they've brought it back anyway.

Monty, does that mean the 10sp ergos work with existing 2008 10sp rear mechs?
This sounds like great news - having a couple of months ago been fleeced the 175 notes for 08 Chorus ergos so I can multi downshift!
