Cyclocross clothing
Hi,
Just a quick question on what people wear to ride cyclocross races! My bib shorts and tops etc. are a little light weight for the colder weather and mud I think.
I guess most people are wearing some kind of bib tights and long sleeved jerseys? Any pointers to some good options? Not too expensive please as I don't want to trash something pricey when I stack it in the woods!
Cheers,
Steve

if you're racing cross properly you shouldn't stand a chance of getting cold!
seriously though, i'd just advise wearing your usual but investing in a light thermal under jersey together with arm warmers and knee warmers. use light xc mtb gloves also. you may be surprised to find you get quite hot though.0 -
Rapha has just brought out a new "cross" range , looks well 8)0

ha ha fair point, but there is the whole waiting around at the start etc. and the wind seems to go right through my shorts! I was debating if it was worth getting some full length winter tights like these - I think it might be worth it for the training sessions alone which are in the evenings. It was bloody cold tonight!mathi wrote:Rapha has just brought out a new "cross" range , looks well : Cool :
It does look pretty slick...it's also f**king expensive!
I think I might get a short sleeved thermal under jersey too -that sounds like a good plan!
