New brakes for old bike?
I've got an old 1980 frame and fork but the calipers are all rusted. I need some new brakes but can't find any, tried ebay.
They'll need to be long drop I guess, the main problem is the pivot bolts aren't long enough to reach through the frame and forks, modern brakes just don't reach far enough due to theh nuts being recessed.
Ideally I'd like some new brakes made for old bikes or with extra long pivot bolt (if such a thing exists), if not I'll make do with old brakes, where can these be bought, besides ebay?

you can get deep drop bolt/nut type brakes from SJSC, the Shimano RX100 are quite expensive but they do cheaper copies
