1"1/4 forks...whats available?

I've just realised that the Pace RC31 forks I took off my '99 Klein Attitude are 1"1/4 steerer diameter. I wanted some suspension so stuck some Marzocchi Bombers in there. I've just realised that the steerer on the Bombers is 1"1/8. I've just had a eureka moment because I now know why I've always had a bit of play in the headset  . I'd assumed the steerer I needed was a standard 1"1/8th.

So, what are my options? Can I shim out the Bombers somehow or do I need to try and find a pair of suspension forks with 1"1/4 diameter?

    buy some 1 1/4 to 1 1/8" reducer cups.

    28mm is 1 1/8"

    1.25" is 31.75mm

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • Thanks. Sorry I've been an idiot tonight. Measured it wrong and asked questions all over the shop that I didn't need to. Feel free to delete this...and any other of my threads on the subject!

I've obviously got something else wrong with my headset.
