tyre question

after much looking on CRC and the like, im stuck and need help!

Basically i want to use my bike a bit more off road as well as on and i need a set of tyres to suit. Im using travel contacts at the moment which are great on road but i want something a bit more substancial for the rough stuff.

Any ideas for a tyre that is good on and off road?!

Tyres like these always a compromise - but if like Conti, I would look at the Speed King.

hmmmm, ok..
lets say if you were to sway more towards the road side of things, but tried to retain the " off road " look?

Definitely speed kings! Or even twisters.

Considered having two sets of tyres ? You'll have less of a compromise and it doesn't take long to swap tyres over.

i have considered that yes, but ive decided against it because i cant be bothered faffing about changing tyres all the time tbh.
