Juicy Three rubbing - piston problem?

I've noticed my Juicy Three's seem to have an issue which sounds like the above.. after I brake hard the pad appears to rub (it goes.. shing! shing! as I pedal!).. until I dab the brake again... any remedies I can try without a blled/pad replacement/forcing the pistons apart?

Worth re-setting the pistons again (zip tie the level to bar overnight)..

    It could be the spring that holds the pad in.

    I have got dirt in there before that got behind the 'leg' of the spring, which in turn caused the tip of the 'leg' to stick out past the face of the pad.
