Marzocchi fork bushing removal

Does anyone have any experience with removing marzocchi fork bushings?
I have a 2006 Z1 bomber with eta and thinking of servicing them myself rather than paying for tftuned to do it, i've found literature on forks but they don't mention removing the bushings, there are fork bushings tools for sale but the price of this makes doing it myself pointless. Does anyone know how hard it is to remove and replace the bushings without this tool? I assume they'll need replacing after 2 years use?
thanks

Do they need replacing? If no play, and smooth action, just leave them.
There was a bodge to remove and fit, I'll try and find the info for you.0
