Ksyrium Equipe wheels (current version) - any good?

Any one got these wheels? If so how do you rate them (I am also looking at Easton Vista SL's)? I can't stretch to the Ksyrium Elites I am afraid. Want to know if the Equipes are worth my (limited) money.

I have read a million threads on other Ksyrium derivatives, but the few reviews I have seen on Equipe's are on older models, and the flexible nature of them seems to be a common theme.

For me, flexible (in the bendy sense) is not good. Flexible (in the multi-purpose sense) is good though, as they will be used for training to sportives, to evening 10s.

Thanks in advance for any feedback on these.

I'm off out into the monsoon now for a couple of hours of gritty crack torture - damned rain!

and if you want a wheel that weighs a couple of ton!

The ksysium equipes 'look' great but I'm not sure they offer much over the fulcrum 5's which are £70 cheaper.
  • I got some cheap and used them as a winter wheel - had trouble with the rear hub and the rims corroding around the spoke holes - thought they rode OK though.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.
