Campag front mech: band, braze or clip?

Can somebody give me a quick desctiption of the pros and cons of the three apparent types of Campag front mech:

- band-on
- braze-on
- clip-on

I'm pretty sure I know what the first two are, but what is a clip-on mech?

depends on the frame. Fit whatever the frame needs.

braze-on is lighter, but with perhaps less flexibility in terms of ring range.

don't know what a clip-on is, sorry. MTBs have top and bottom swing.
