how will i know when my trek pilot 1.0 headset needs changing

    when:

    - it's notchy, or

    - rough, or

    - you want to be cooler

    Lift the front of the bike up and slowly/lightly turn the bars

  • as above.

    If it makes noise, diassemble, regrease then re-assemble.
    If it still makes noise, it's time for new bearings (easier to just buy a new headset probably)

    Man those crank brothers headsets look cool... 8)
