Sell complete or break?

I have two bikes that have been standing for a while, not getting much use since the latest two additions so it seems sensible to let go of sentiment and make some space. One is a Raleigh Triathlon (about 20 years old, but good condition), 531c frame and forks 12 speed Shimano 105 parts, although it has been used as a fixed for the last few years, the other a Ribble 531c frame and forks (15 years old could do with a rub down and spray but otherwise seems okay) with 8 speed Veloce.
What do people reckon would be best - sell complete, or strip down and sell parts?

Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos
