Started to look at upgrading brakes!
Need some for xc use, 160mm rotors and preferably lightweight but still good stoppers.
Any thoughts or even better any reccomendations would be great!

I've got Formula K24 on 180mm rotas and can't falut 'em !! Stop well (too well before I got used to them :oops: ) light enought for XC, powerfull enough for DH in the Alps !!! and just fit and forget.

The only upgrade from k18 to k24 (I think !!) is the FSC tool free stroke adjustment.0 -
hope mini!! mine are very poweful for my needs and on 160mm rotors. also think of magura martas?I said hit the brakes not the tree!!

I got formula ORO k24's from ebay (velosave) new for £170 with 160mm rotors.
I've given them some serious downhill stick and not had any fade or anything. But I do only way 10 st.
Superb so far for the money0
