Puncture Repair Kits

I need to get a new one and I'll order it online e.g. from CRC or similar...
Am I correct in thinking that if the advert says "glueless patches" it means the patches are self adhesive as the pack does not come with any vulcanising solution.
Thanks

i have found with some glueless patches, that you put them on and if you leave your bike outside when you go to a cafe or anything you'll come back and the tire will be flat.

Alright as a quick fix if you've used your inner tube on your other tyre but needs replaced with a proper one as soon as you get home

Need to restock on inner tubes due to a change in valve type and have run out of puncture repair kits so might get some park tool ones.

I had looked at the park tools ones and THESE

or you could not cut corners on ride saving equipment and buy the park ones and levers... tiny investment for time saved out on the trails and avoiding potential DEATH...

Normal patches and glue for me.

Why spend more on some fancy-pants replacement for something that works so well and weighs so little?

'cos at £2.50 delivered it aint exactly expensive, oh and that they work with less faff than traditional kits...
Oh, and its so fast, its almost faster than swapping the tube out and fixing when you get home!

    a) a traditional puncture repair kit is heavier than a pack of self-adhesive patches
    b) the little tube of glue never mysteriously dries up even when it's never been opened. How does that happen :? ?
    c) they aren't as bulky.

I use these with no issues.

Always carry them out on the trail as well as a couple of inner tubes.

I tried them a couple of times and they didn't stay stuck, but I'm willing to admit they may have improved in the last eight years or so.

    Perhaps I'll try them again.

I find Leeches which you can get from halfords are an absolute lifesaver, not the weldtite ones though, they just fall off.

Thanks for replies - I actually ended up going on an unforeseen trip into town today so bought some (self-adhesive) patches in Halfords while I was there. And inner tubes as they were on offer.
