XC Racing Near Manchester

Hi

After riding for nearly 2 years I want to start competing in XC races. Can anyone refer me to any XC clubs around the manchester area. I live in Bury by the way, which is around 30mins from manchester.

    I'm in Heywood and have done loads of XC challenges and Races, the nearest track is in Lee Quarry near Bacup.
    If you look at the CVMBC website there arte links to quite a few events, which tend to be around West Yorks.
    The next event as far as I know is the Rossendale Mountain Rescue Mary Townley Loop
    starting from Rossendale on 14/09
