Kona Scrap '04 (embarrased) crank problem

hey all, this is my first post so go easy im nearly 17, riding a kona scrap '04 model which is a bit worn but i love it.
basically my left hand crank ( Truvativ Hussefelt is the brand, dunno if that helps) has a bit of play in it so it loosens my crank nut, which in turn makes the crank fall off, so i can cycle for around 10 minutes on flat then have to stop, get off and tighten it with the trusty allen key. which you can all appreciate, is VERY annoying. i've been to halfords, not exactly specialist i know, and they said that Truvativ discontinued their Hussefelt model as isis drive wasn't used much nowadays. i dont know if there trying to rip me off or not but they said id need a whole new crankset and bottom bracket is this the case or is there a simpler cheaper alternative, like having unmatching cranks? i have a job so i have a reasonable amount to spend, just rather not? anyhelp would be greatly appreciated as i NEED to get out riding. i miss it too much!
thankyou all

please go and visit a real bike shop.
Hussefelt can be ISIS fitting it can also be Howitzer fitting. But yes you can get new arms and ISIS BB's
But you can pick up a nice Shimano HT2 crankset for not much. but please note that external bearing BB's will need to bb shell faced. (which i feel your halfords would not be able to do)."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
