Just a quick i guess, what are the pro's and con's between short cage and super short cage..

    super looks neater and shifts a tad faster (in theory)

    short can handle a wider range of gears (but both can handle the same max sprocket size)

    Ok cheers, got another for you,if you have Dura Ace 9 speed bar end shifters have you got to use Dura Ace mechs or can you use Ultegra etc.

    use what you want as long as it has the tooth range and is shimano and the correct speed compatible or higher. IE the more cogs on the back the narrower the jockey wheels, so a fatter wheel may cause the thinner chain to not run correctly. (and visa versa but to a lesser degree).

    any 9 or 10spd Shimano rear mech will be fine, road or mtb
