stem size?

Hey there, was wondering if someone can help me with a stem size? have a 120mm easton on full susser with 100mm front fork and was looking at a shorter one to give more control in technical sections. any recommendations of stem length and rise?

I would go for a 100, as any more is a big change.
Rise: what do you have at the minute? Do you want the bars to be a little higher, or lower?0 -

current stem has no rise, my arms are long but the frame is very long as it a Cube AMS, so quite stretched out on the bike. not sure about rise, what affect does more rise have on the steering\control over the bike?0

Higher rise will tilt your weight a little further back, and make you more upright, taking some of the weight off the front end.0
