one of those weeks

Up until last weekend I hadn't ahd a puncture for almost a year that promptly ended and now I've had 3 in as many hours on Friday.
The very same Friday where I ended up crashing not once, not twice but three times in 3 hours!!!
First off was on a steep mini down hill bit of a trail, front wheel washed away over a partly hidden root, for some stoopid reason i decided a big fist of front brake was required and I promptly went over the bars, bike on top of me and head planted into some loverly soft bracked, 12" further forwards was a tree stump, lucky
Second one I wandered off to my fave bomb hole with a ncie roll in where I've been practising jumping for the last few weeks as there's a nice lipped exit on one side, 1st go - great, plenty of air and distance, 2nd go even better, 3rd go I thought lets go for it and it all went horribly wrong, with me sliding across the trail on my left elbow and left thigh :? I thought to myslef, that's not going to get the better of me so after a couple of minutes dusting myslef down and applying medi-wipes to my now skanking elbow I neaild the fooker good style and off I rode 8)
The final event was as a stream crossing and I decided that as I'd ridden it almost every week for the last 5 months I'd go a little harder and try adn get up the steeper exit slope, doh big mistake as I lost balance on a 45 degree slope I was trying to ride along and fell right back into the stream Properly soaked now and my various cuts n grazes stung like hell.
At least it was very warm & sunny so I was pretty much dry by the time I rode home.
Guess it was just one of those weeks 8)
