Thinking of going abroad

Had a bit of a thought today.
Instead of riding the same old trails near to me, I thought of travelling a little further afield.
Now, yes I could travel north & try South Wales, but as I'm not far from a ferry port, I am contemplating a short foriegn trip.
Now I don't want to take a car.
My thought was to find a 'hotel' within say 30 miles of the port and see what is around.
Anyway the point to this is:
Does anyone know if there is any good mountain biking near to Roscoff or if I travel further near Santander? (travel would be from Plymouth ya see)
