Has anyone else wondered when we are going to hear that Piepoli did actually test positive after his stage win. If it's true that he owned-up to his team management why has there been no announcement of a failed test. Could it be that they are struggling to find it positive as they did not have sufficient volume to test as they did with Ricco ??
Or is the test not so reliable after all ??

It's possible he didn't, but the fact that SD pulled him screams volumes!

If he did dope (sorry, I'll rephrase that - if as seems obvious he doped  ), he needs to be chucked out of the results.
There are no time bonuses this year so it won't affect the final results for Sastre & Evans, etc but the stage win and prize money needs to go to Cobo (if he's clean) or Schleck
