Hi Y'all
Me and some mates are attempting the Ridgeway in 3 weeks time over a weekend for charity and as none of us have done this sort of distance thought I'd pick some brains for any tips considering the most we've done is 26 miles in a day.
Hear it can be pretty nasty in the wet. We're starting at Avebury - overrnight in Goring and finish Ivanhoe Beacon before a 10 mile ride back to a mates house.
Really looking forward to it - tinged with some trepidation though

There is some really good advice on this thread about taking on a long distance ride. You're definitely right to plan carefully. Most of all though - enjoy it!!
