Bought a storage belt & cable lock today.
I find that I can get back ache riding distances wearing a backpack (bladder etc), but obviously need some fluid on a long ride. So when I saw Aldi have these:
I bought one. Apart from the one I have hold 2 bottles, with loads of space for tools & snacks. Hope I haven't wasted £3.49!
Also bought one of these:
Could be handy for locking helmet to bike or a quick nip to the shops etc.

Mark - we had a similar cable lock (with an alarm) when we went travelling to Oz/NZ - used to lock up stuff in our tent with it - nothing ever got pinched so think it worked well!
Annoying that Camelbak style sacks hurt your back - have you looked at the lower sitting Wingnut Bags? Pricey but might help.0 -
Matt........ you know its my job to big up the wingnut bags on this forum and for you to disagree and say how great camelbaks are.......
i have to say though they are great bags and if i could get them for under £4 i would have more few more.Nothing in life can not be improved with either monkeys, pirates or ninjas

I really like Camelbaks a lot but maybe they don't suit Mark?
Of course Camelbaks are better for 99% of riders...0 -
I bought a similar lock as my snowboard lock!!
It now see's Summer(?) service as a secondary MTB lock - typically, when parked up I use it to secure the seat to the frame.
I also use it as my main lock in the 'secure' compound we have at work - saves on carrying a bigger lock to/from work each day.Stumpy, Rockhopper (stolen!) & custom SX Trail II - that should do it!0
