Not been on the bike for a month due to work and naff weather.
During this time I have managed to spend some time stripping the drivechain and refitting it along, tweaking the brakes and fitting the spare Hope XC with Schwabe City Jets on.
Took the bike out tonight along the local cycle path and it's better than ever. No creaks or groans from the drivechain, everything feels so slick and precise and riding a bike with slicks on for the first time felt very rapid. Enjoyed it so much, even with mouth full of flies every 10 metres, that I didn't get back until after 10pm.
If you have got the time to go for a ride then get out in the garage and get that bike pampered. It will be worth it when you do go out.
