it's often hard to get my camelback open, doesn't seem to matter how loosely you close it, it's always a pain in the arse to get open again. - lid is too big so there's too much friction on the seal etc.....

Anyway, can't get it open this time , any suggetions?? - i'm 6'2 and 15stone so weedy arms aren't the problem before anyone suggests that. :D

it's normally the lack of grip is the problem with mine.

I use 2 wooden spoons crossed against eachother to get extral leverage. Put the end (non spoon end) of each in the recess of the lid cross them and twist

    Make sense ???
  • just broke my wooden spoon........

Steak hammer next me thinks....
  • Steak hammer and sharpening steel did the job nicely, may camelback should supply you with one of each every time you buy a badder?

Got to go and explain to the mrs about her wood spoon now

    Thanks for the reply tho.
  • blow down the pipe and inflate the bladder, it makes opening both of mine much easier.

Buy a tennis ball and squeeze it (and he tennis ball :D ) as many times as you can each night before you go to bed. Forearms like Garth will help control your bike on the rough stuff as well.
