I have been looking at getting a enduro sl for some time and will be making the investment this weekend in some form or other.
I was wondering if you guys would buy new or go second hand for the higher spec. I have managed to get a local shop to do me a deal for £1700 for a sl expert.
Also i would like some pedals that can be used with spd and have flats any advice?
I am going to be selling a 2006 stumpjumper fsr comp any ideas on what its worth?

If the 2nd hand bike condition is good then there is no reason why you shouldn't consider it. Be aware though that Specialized only provide a lifetime warranty to the original owner.
Specialized are doing an offer at the moment 'Summer Reward*', where you get 10% of the value of the bike back to spend on other Specialized products. So another incentive to buy new.
As for pedals, Crank Brothers Candy are worth checking out.
The Enduro SL is a stunning bike - you'll sure have fun on it
