im guessing a few quid is for basic shifers, hundreds is quality ones?
well, im new to biking so it would be cheap and functional, any reccomendations? £50?0 -
If it were me i would want matching ones, so I would either get another of what you have or upgrade the pair. £50 will get some decent shifters (Shimano XT, SRAM Rocket)."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

A pair of functional but good Shimano Deore would be around £25.2006 Giant XTC

CRC do an XT M770 set for £ 45, mine are on the way as I write this. Fitting shouldn't take more than 30 mins. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0
