Slap bang in them middle between the two sound stages.
Would liked to have been closer still could see plenty, and with the two big TV screens you don't miss much.
It was magic.

I saw them in Glasgow last year.....

awesome gig.....eddy climbing out of a tank and firing flames over the audience was particularly awesome.
Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

I saw them in Pompey in 1980 and was one of a number of fans on the stage for "Transylvania" at the encore.

So although playing air guitar - I have technically performed on stage with Iron Maiden
He that buys land buys many stones.
He that buys flesh buys many bones.
He that buys eggs buys many shells,
But he that buys good beer buys nothing else.

• I saw them at Lincoln Drill Hall, with Girlschool supporting. Paul Di Ano was singing and they were rubbish. Girlschool too were rubbish but eminently more forgiveable.

I have recently assumed partial responsibility for two pre - pubescant Italian boys, both of whom are big fans (of Maiden, not Girlschool). I don't have a problem with that per se, but I have a great deal of difficulty with their apparent obsession with the truly heinous Guns n Roses.

I'm trying everything, from UFO to the Ramones, Stiff Little Fingers, The Rezillos, The Killers, you name it, but depressingly they are quite resolute. I blame their father, though very obviously not publicly, that wouldn't do at all.

If anybody knows of an antidote I'd be very intersted to hear about it, because It threatens to undermine my relationship with their poor beleaugered mother.

Nice. I saw Maiden a couple of times 16 or 17 years ago. I also saw GnR at Wembley, used to like 'em, sorry. Went to see a few other metal bands around that time - Ozzy, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. All good fun, but I've not been tempted to go to see a metal band in recent years.
• I saw them in Sheffield about a year ago, they were amazing!
• i got stuck in the tesco carpark yesterday by twick due to a jehovers convention....was this also knows as an iron maiden concert? lmao...
