Hi,

I'm (hopefully) going to be going on holiday to Iceland next year. :)

It isn't specifically a biking trip but I'd like to do some riding whilst I'm there, maybe a couple of trails. I'll be going with the girlfriend who isn't really a cyclist so don't want to do anything too long. Any one else been cycling there? Any good spots?

I'm also debating if I want to take my XC hard tail, or hire one. I'm not sure how much an XC specific hard tail will cope with some of the terrain there.

Cheers,
Steve

Go for the National Tourist Board. I remember reading an article about 15 years ago on this (MBUK I think) - MTBing does exist there. Sorry I can't be more help - 15 yrs is a long time!

Make sure the aislses are clear of trolleys and Kerry Katona.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Don't get you hopes up for any Forest trails though
