Buckled wheel fix

Hi folks...
Just realised the other day that my GT's back wheel is buckled (i think).... gutted...
My question is, does anyone know how much a LBS should be charging for sorting it out, and secondly, is it a job that any LBS can do, or should I go to a specialist MTB LBS...
To clarify that last bit, what I mean is in Stafford we have a scheme called Back2Bikes... its a charity that also do repairs and maintenance... if they can fix it, they would prob be cheap, but I get the impression that they are used to dealing with crappy old rust buckets, not my beloved GT bike...

Often the shops that are used to dealing with budget bikes have the best mechanics (older parts, harder to set up etc).
A wheel true should be about 8 quid. Hopefully the wheel isnt damaged.0 -
