long mynd rides

Is it possible to ride the long mynd end to end and can anyone outline the route?

    Yes - suggest you contact the National Trust at Cardingmill Valley, Church Stretton - they have a leaflet showing all routes on the Mynd; basically you`d start at the north end, up onto Green Gallop from The Batch valley - long climb btw!, then along onto Portway to go over by Pole Bank , then could finish down Minto Batch (highly recommnded excellent s/track downhill) :) or possibly continue along by the glider port , but unsure of way off at the southern end. enjoy! :D
