Ok then i am trying to setup my rockshox recon SL air forks. From the sram website i see that i need to put in about 90psi of air pressure as i weigh about 175 pounds, im assuming i can do this with a normal track pump with a gauge?. Oh i have the joe blow pump from halfords, will this be suitable?

My question is the rebound setting, how do you guys set your forks up? Start in the middle of the rabbit and tortoise settings or is there a better way of doing it? 8)

get a shock pump with a gauge that till allow you to read the air pressure decided on.

Set the air to give your required sag (forget what it says on the webby or the fork leg)

Set the sag to what you want.

set the rebound to what suits you and your riding style. IE slow enough not to though you off but fast enough so it does not pack down.

Ive never setup a shock before.... by sag are you referring to the amount the fork compresses when im sat on the bike?
