Sorry people but another tyre question, i have had my GT Avalanche 2.0 approx 6 months now and was wondering now the weather is changing should i look at changing my tyres, my GT came with Kenda Nevegals 2.1, i ride with my mate who has a stumpy with the specialized tyres on, he recommends them and i must admit they look far more suitable now the trails have dried out, we had a ride this morning and it was just dry and loads of stones and rocks around.
So any advice on tyres would be gratefully received.

Cheers, Jontymo

Unless you want to keep a gaggle of tyres and change them all the time, I'd leave the Nevegal on the front and put a fast tyre on the rear. I like to keep the same manufacturer on both ends so I'd put a Kenda small block 8 on the rear to reduce rolling resistance.

By leaving the Nevegal on the front, you can still ride when the weather is less than Summery.
