There are so many and I'll be passing today. I need a set of bars/stem.

I popped into BikeZone on Market St. (near Lincoln College) on a visit to Oxford a couple of years ago - seemed a pretty decent shop and got a fleecy Altura top/jacket thing for the cold weather at a respectable price.

I used to work around the corner from Walton Street Cycles and, assuming they are still open as this was the mid-90s, would recommend them. The people who worked in there were always very helpful.

The very best shop in Oxford today is definatly Beeline (cowley Road). Some years ago, Walton Street Cycles was a pretty extensive shop, though not so much these days... but still a good shop in my book. But in my opinion, Beeline is the shop run by true professionals, and very in touch with the real MTB world!

    Beeline.

In days gone by it used to be Broadribbs, now reborn as Bike Zone. I used to go into Broadribbs and ogle the Campagnolo Super Record on display whilst my wife shopped in the covered market. Not sure you can buy Campag in Oxford anymore. Beeline is very much in the pocket of Madison and Zyro. :(
  • Beeline by far.

Although I don't rate any of them highly.
