I'm kind of interested as to the differing spectrum of cyclists we have here.

A campag instruction leaflet saying if you weigh more than 86kg you have to be very careful and get your bike checked more sparked this thought.

So I'm looking at a few stats to get body shape etc see if the fitter more advanced cyclists are willing to drop their upper body for the sake of going faster

Height
Weight
Chest
Waist

This should give an idea of peoples general shape I think
I've gone for imperial for no real reason.

Mine
H 6'5
We 15st 5
C 44
W 32-34

go, or not up to you really

Always keep your waistline less than your age, you can't go far wrong

But not until one gets to c. 30 y.o. surely? Fall in half at 18!

Most cyclists I see seem pretty odd shapes (i.e. not much upper body); probably would struggle to beat bodyweight on the bench ...

I'd be intersted to hear what people can bench press free weight; say 6 reps ...

Perhaps add age to your list:

    Height: 5'11"
    Weight: 77kgs
    Chest: 38"
    Waist: 33"
    Bench: 85kgs (6 reps)
    Age: 41

    mmm pie

my trousers are 34s but they're getting loose ad the cycling is doing good things for me, it also depends on the make of trousers, I've got a pair of 38's by boss as that was the only size I could get over my thighs...

I've had a similar problem. I got a pair of jeans jammed mid-thigh - I couldn't get them on or off. In the ensueing struggle, I toppled out of the changing room booth into the main shop. Luckily, I was wearing my Sunday shreddies!
