Clearing memberlist

Has anyone admin wise thought of clearing the memberlist of anyone that hasn't logged in since say 2 years or more?
I had a nose for alternate usernames and the list is quite surprising, so many names taken up let a lot of them are around 2003/2004/2005 yet haven't posted once.
Would be nice to possible future members[and myself of course] to have a bit more headroom for usernames?
Bit frustrating when registering to find anything remotely similar is taken up.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Not to mention the 70000 + registered usernames who haven't even posted a message !!0

I think a lot of people registeredo n the old site to use the readers add section but never postedo n the forum. There are a lot of people who havent posted at all and have been regsitered for years though.0
