Lol, i think this is rarther a novel idea, pretty handy if you have a quick release seat post,

    hee hee -yeah i like that actually!!

    probably more secure than a bolt on clamp as well as the 5mm allen key in the chavs pocket is unlikely to be accompanied by a chain tool too

    d'ya think he used a powerlink though? :P

    It brought a smile to my face when i first saw it, and you must admit it is a cool idea, will probably give it a go myself. :D

    It's a common solution, bike chain though some wrap it in or put it in an innertube.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    nice one!

    I usually run a loop of metal cable (won't stop someone with bolt croppers, but deters the kids who just want to see u ride home without a saddle!) through my saddle and attach it to my cycle lock when in the rougher parts of town.
