its all motor bike related
people saying they have stronger stopping power but only when at heat and disliking them in the cold
is this the same for mb, for example is heat generated by mb enough to see benefits
and are there any other disadvantages?0 -
I'm not an expert by any means (disclaimer ).
But my sintered did seem to bite better in mud and wet over the composites/resin.
Which makes me ask...why have composites/resin?
Sintered seem to be more prone to squeal..=========================================

for the awesome summer that we appear to have on the way judging by the past two days?0 -
You just know people are going to be floating away again next month, just like last year ;-)
You need Nick or SS to answer your question from a technical POV.I did my bestest but they have forgotten more than I'll ever know=========================================

going down a long 1in6 drop and dragging both (front black organic/resin?, rear orange sintered) the front stays quiet but pretty soon i have to pull harder to get the same force but the opposite for the rear which needs less pull on the lever as it becomes hotter, the squeel from the rear is'nt as loud as it gets hotter either. just waiting to fully wear out the front before i replace with sintered, suprised the front has lasted over 2k miles really, still about 50% life on the rear0

They last much longer than the organic pads, especially in adverse weather. I got through 4 organic pads in 1 ride. That's when I bought the sintered pads and they are still going strong. I didn't notice much of a difference in braking power, but they are supposed to be a bit less powerful...0
